We had a fun and great experience at the museum. The museum is located at Tucumcari's Convention Center. Just drive around towards the baseball field, and you will see it. There is a fee to go into the museum, which I believe was $5.00 per person.
As you enter, you can see a wide variety of classic cars, neon photographs, and artwork throughout the museum. There is a small sitting area where you can watch a video about Route 66. I especially liked the Neon.
We actually visited the museum twice to take photos, and we had a great time looking at the photos and artwork on the wall and, of course, looking at the classic cars.
There is a small area at the front where you can also buy souvenirs.

The merchandise they had didn't provide a large selection, but it wasn't all the same redundant stuff at many others. The staff was also very kind and helpful.
