Pyramid Mtn Trailhead — Attraction in Four Corners States

Skip the crowded trails for sunset and come here instead! I saw one other person on a Saturday evening sunset hike and the views were fantastic almost the entire time. I recommend doing the loop counterclockwise for a gradual start but the end will be steep downhill. I spent 1 hr 45 min but stopped many times to enjoy the views and take photos. This trailhead leads to a network of trails, one of which is a very easy loop trail. Pyramid Trail to Scorpion and that’s it. This little loop takes about one hour. Great hike next to Pyramid Mountain. Beautiful views. Parking for about 10 cars at Trailhead. Recommend turning right going Counterclockwise to follow scorpion trail first then merging into Pyramid trail. Watch for the markers as there are mini trails that deviate from the main trail.
