Sedona Cathedral Hideaway B&B & Spa — Hotel in Sedona

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights and it exceeded our expectations by far. ||- Warm welcome by Cathy and Larry into their house where we felt at home.|- Coffee and milk, chocolates filtered water, Ice, milk, available throughout the day.|- Good recommendations to trails, restaurants and more in the Sedona area.|- Sunblock for our car was available free of charge.||Room: We stayed in a large room with spectacular view over Cathedral Rock (Safari room). |The room was in nice light colors. |Toilet, shower, and SPA rooms were large and very fine.|Coffee machine|We enjoyed a very nice king size bed where each side could be personalized. Awesome. |Individual air condition|Should we fell cold, the room had a Fire place.|Replenishment of water, chocolate/snacks/coffee||Balcony: Beautiful view from the balcony. Breath-taking.||Breakfast: Our breakfast experience did exceed our wildest dreams. |The wildest breakfast catalogue was available for inspiration only.|We just let Kathy and Larry know our breakfast preference for the next morning and they would prepare it perfectly.|Each breakfast was an experience. The table setting was different every day and so beautiful. It was accompanied with entertainment. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Cathedral rock. In addition, However, just in front of us, were watching hummingbirds. Not only a few but a least 100 hummingbirds from a distance less the 6 feet. This is such a comfortable place to stay in a fabulous location. We had an upstairs room with a panoramic view of Cathedral Rock. We partially chose this location because many great trails are accessible from the inn. The Innkeepers, Kathy and Larry, are gems. So warm, welcoming, and kind. They also cook up fabulous breakfasts to your specifications, artfully prepared and presented each and every day. They thought of every detail when they built the place specifically as a bed and breakfast. There are lovely places to meander and have different outdoor experiences on the property. The room is like an apartment with a sitting area, a good size fridge/freezer, microwave, dishes and glassware, and thoughtfully placed chocolate and snacks. There is a jetted tub, fireplace, 2 person walk-in shower, and private balcony with a view. We availed ourselves of all the place had to offer, even picking up food and eating in our room a few times. They planned for that and even encouraged it by having a coffee table that lifted up and formed an eating table. The place is immaculate, safe and secure. It's not brand new but well cared for and extremely comfortable. Kathy shared a wealth of information about the inn, Sedona, and the various trails, and helped us form an action plan each day so that we could make the most of our experience. I had the pleasure of staying with Kathy and Larry at their amazing bed-and-breakfast two times so far. My first time to Sedona was in February 2020 and we were on the lower floor of the bed-and-breakfast. I came back this July and stayed in the same wonderful room! This home is over 5000 square feet and is decorated so beautifully with crystals and beautiful artwork. There are massive ceilings, comfortable beds, deep soaking tubs, large walk-in closets, a labyrinth in the yard, a fountain in the yard, outdoor seating with direct views of Cathedral Rock, hummingbirds, an amazing walk-in closet with your own refrigerator and your own coffee station and you’re on microwave, fresh robes and slippers, and the most delicious made to order daily breakfast! Kathy and Larry’s friendly and laid-back nature make for such a relaxing trip as well as their knowledge of the area! Kathy and Larry have become dear friends of mine, that I consider to be part of my family! You would be blessed and lucky to spend any amount of time in their outstanding bed-and-breakfast! If staying in someone’s home isn’t for you, they also have a two-story casita on the property that does not include breakfast and has its own entrance and exit and is more private.
