Nice arch and accompanying formations along a well-trodden trail in the northern part of the park. This arch, being the last one reached on the trail, was noticeably less crowded than the other two, which possibly contributed to the fact that there was a deer going about his business in the foreground of the arch when I arrived. This was my favorite spot on the Sand Dune Arch/Broken Arch/Tapestry Arch Trail, so obviously I'd definitely recommend a visit

Gorgeous Arch! We hiked from the campground to Tapestry Arch. I loved the spots on the hike where we had to watch for Carins along the way. It adds such a feeling of a scavenger hunt to a hike. Going from one to the next searching for the next one. We kept going here to Broken Arch and then back to the Campground. Probably the trail from Broken to the campground was my favorite for it was just so pictureques. So beautiful.

The most direct way if you want to go to see the Tapestry Arch only is to park beside the restrooms within the Campgrounds. Follow the trail until you see the arch, it is a bit unclear and sandy so follow any shoe prints you see. If you are careful and brave, you can climb over the big rock formations along the path and proceed onto a small, short trail directly to the front of the arch.

The Tapestry Arch is a great hike to a unique and beautiful arch! The arch itself is up against another fin and is open from the top. The hike out from the Campground is short and relatively easy, but there are some ledges, deep sand and slick rock to scramble over. It is well worth it and if you have time and water, I suggest taking the spur over to the Broken Arch, too! We saw some mule deer on our hike out, so keep your eyes open for wildlife...
