I got three lotion bars and a chapstick. All smell absolutely incredible! The products are very high quality. The 3 stars isn't for their products, which I would totally buy again.
I took two stars off because while we were in the store, a man (whose wife was shopping) came in requesting to use the restroom. He clearly had a disability. The owner (or manager) was adamant that he could not use the restroom. He practically begged her, saying he would be fast, and that due to his disability he needed access to a restroom. The store was full of patrons witnessing this.
I don't know if the woman thought that if she allowed this man access to her restroom, that the rest of us in the store would storm the restrooms ourselves....but I was very put off by seeing this interaction. Read moreBeautiful little shop, a short ~20 min drive from Woods Canyon Lake. In front there's about 5 parking spots, or there is another parking lot you can park in when you turn in, and from there it's less than a minute's walk down. Cozy wooden exterior, and there's an accessible ramp to the entrance too.
Inside, though the room is small, there's a lot of lavender-themed products- specifically mostly lotions and I saw lavender lemonade, as well as some cute lavender-themed shirts. What's nice about this store is you can also walk out to see their farm. Farm is not as huge as I thought it'd be- but very nice to see lavender growing- my first time seeing it in my life. Next to the garden is a purple-hued seating area with a small waterfall. Very peaceful...
Read moreWindy Hills Lavender Farm was the main draw that enticed my girlfriend and I to visit Heber and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. It was an adorable little shop stocked with items made on-site by lavender harvested from their fields and they carried every lavender-infused product you could imagine including coffees, cooking oils, deodorants, lotions, soy candles and dozens of other items. The owners were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and even allowed us to wander the small gardens and enjoy the relaxing waterfall behind their shop. I'm keeping Windy Hills marked on maps and definitely plan to visit next year when the lavender is in season. Thank you so much for the...
