Our family's had a great time. The children ran in age from 14 months - 12 years of age and there was something for everyone. The adults had fun too! You have to bring your own towel but they have pretty much everything else to rent. Swimming vests ( free), innertubes ($3 a tube) and a little shop if you forget anything (at a mark up of course) . There is a small grill to buy food from. No outside food is allowed. At first it seems easy enough to sneak in food but when the people next to us brought theirs out an employee came out of nowhere to tell them it's not allowed. So they are watching. There are cabanas to reserve which I highly recommend . We rented the Standard Cabana and loved it. It is a decent size area of grass with a very large umbrella that gives shade to the entire area. There are only 2 loungers set aside but if you get there early enough you can pull in extra chairs or 2 loungers . We pulled in two extra loungers plus the stroller and were just fine. There is a Premium Cabana and Luxury Loungers but they are on the island of the lazy River. So if you want to relax this is NOT where you want to be. There is so much going on in that little island, including a water play area for youth's, that everything is close together. If you like being in the middle of the action ( literally) this is for you. There are 4 'big/tall' slides . 2 of which you can ride single with the innertube or there is a double innertube that two people can ride together. There are small slides in the youth area. Which has a little pool around it. There is a lazy river, a kiddie area and a lap pool (noone is doing laps). Bottom line is this is a great place for all ages. I highly...
Read moreIt's frustrating when people can ruin your day, especially when all you want is to spend quality time with your family. We recently visited an Aqua Park as a family. The staff at the gate and front desk were very welcoming. However, the issues began when we wanted to go on the tube rides.
First, we were informed that dresses with zippers weren't allowed, but we could still go if we turned the kids' dresses inside out to hide the zippers. We understood this rule and complied. Then, to our surprise, we were told that rings weren't allowed either. As a married couple, we wear rings all the time, and ours don’t have any sharp edges.
It started to feel like we were being targeted for some reason. Despite explaining that these were our wedding rings, one lady, who seemed to be a supervisor or at least pretended to be one, insisted that rings were not allowed. Even the person at the gate seemed surprised, as we saw many people with sharp-edged rings passing by.
Ultimately, they allowed us to go on the rides after we put plasters around our rings, but it left us questioning the experience. All the other staff were nice and courteous, and we understand that rules are in place for a reason. However, shouldn't these rules be applied uniformly to everyone?
Advice: Train your staff
PS: The 3 stars are for the other courteous...
