Deens Electronics — Attraction in Fremont

I took my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw printer to Deens Electronics (DE) on April 13, 2023, to diagnose why the printer was printing black pages--no text or images--and repair it.

I first called to confirm the company repaired HP printers and spoke with a gentleman who identified himself as Curt, the Service Manager. Curt also greeted my wife and I when we dropped off the printer at the business. We found him pleasant and learned that he, like us, is a Golden State Warriors' fan.

Our printer was repaired and ready for pick-up on April 28, 2023. We're pleased to report the printer is working like new and would highly recommend DE to anyone needing printer repair or other electronic product repair services.

A final thought: if your household only has one printer like ours, you may think the two weeks it took DE to diagnose and repair our printer, is too long. To be honest, given how much we use our printer, we did hope it would be repaired sooner. We learned, however, that having to order and wait for delivery of some of the parts from specialized suppliers, was one of the reasons the repair took two weeks.

It is unfortunate that Mitsubishi stop manufacturing dye sub printers. Although support is dwindling and supplies are almost scarce, my K60s continues to serve my photo business reliably. Recent malfunctions have almost sidelined my printer until Deens Electronics revived it with a simple thorough cleaning service. Since the printer count on my troubled printer was low, a failing fuser head would've been a cost killer. Needless to say, I'm putting this printer back to service shortly. If all goes well, I'm definitely bringing in my other printer for a deep cleaning as well.
