Pacific Bus Museum — Attraction in Fremont

An innocent sense of curiosity will draw out these vivid pictures that may have been quietly stored or lost in memory.

This museum has taken an endeavor of tremendous effort to bring the details of those old memories and bring them forward. I applaud with great enthusiasm for what has been done.

To this I am careful to bring attention to what is being presented. Because sometimes you have to slow down to take in the moments.

To revive something special and important, you have to know what 10¢ meant just the other day.

It's more than just a bunch of buses, it really was an experience not long ago to get from here to there, to want to be somewhere, to see someone or something. There is texture to that memory, that has been lost to time.

Somehow you have to be in the moment. It was a magical time of either waiting, wondering or the hopeful anticipation of an arrival or seeing that special person. Maybe it was a job, or the devastation of a last ride after defeat, only to get back to it the next day.

Great place to visit and for me to be nostalgic. There were many buses to see. Many from nearby cities in the Bay Area. I was surprised to see a 38 Geary bus from the late 60's early 70's that took me to my school in San Francisco. It even still had the coin meter that I would use at the time. It was 10 cents a ride back then. Saw the Tammy Wynette bus. Great to see some of her personal items in the bus. A perfect place to revisit your childhood and bring your family. I’m very glad we got to stop by here! It’s a very small museum, but it is full of history! I really liked that we could walk into the busses and even sit in the driver’s seat. The reason I left four stars is only because the parking is a bit odd since it’s a “park wherever” kind of deal. It was also very flooded when we arrived due to the rain, so be aware of that if you visit during the rainy season. Nevertheless, this place is definitely worth it since it is a quick and...
