Melody Park — Attraction in Fresno

As me and my wife waited to do the walk-through of our brand new home nearby, we observed several drug deals occur.

As we watched, a vehicle would pull up into a parking lot, a scraggly Caucasian young man would emerge from the bleachers located deeper within the park near the eastern perimeter and lean down on the driver's side, pulling 'product' from his pockets and completing his business transaction.

In the 40 mins. we were parked there, we saw at least four transactions.

Fresno PD even swept into the parking lot during that time; the business-man & his partner (a male Hispanic), just disappeared back underneath the trees, unseen by the busy patrol officer, who quickly departed.

5 mins. later; back in business.

Our welcome to Fresno. I'm from So Cal, so none of what I saw was new or a shock.

Definitely a good place to find a good pick up basketball game. I wish both courts were single rim. Other than that its pretty smooth, there's a few cracks in the concrete though. They have a baseball field, tennis/volleyball court skate park and a mini water park and jungle gym for the kids. I will say as of recently there has been people...
