Ok, so second time here at this location. The first time was takeout about a month or two after they first opened. The wife and I weren't too impressed, so waited a while before giving it another chance. Today the service was perfect, but the food, just so-so. As with all of the Dicicco's restaurants, the warm homemade bread was delicious. Moving on to the salad, it had a pretty decent amount of greens. To large to eat without cutting. The blue cheese dressing was a little runny and a little on the bitter side. Only came with three small triangles of cheese and three 1/2 slices of salami. Pretty boring salad. They do have a cranberry and walnut alternative if that appeals to you more. So, as for the Scarface pasta plate that my brother-in-law and I having always been huge fans of, it was a little disappointing. I'm not sure what the actual plate or bowl thing that it is served in is called, but I can't stand it when I see them. They look like a big bowl, but it's actually a small bowl with a large rim on it, making it resemble a plate. The reason I don't care for these is that one of the main intentions behind these dishes is it "looks" like your getting a pretty good size portion of food, when indeed, you are not. Very deceiving. At first, our sauce was very watery. It was so thin, that if you look at my photo, all of the sauce is at the bottom of the plate/er bowl, whatever it's called. It's not thick enough to stay on the pasta. The chicken is cooked, but not browned at all. This leaves the consistency of the chicken too soft, and lacking flavor. Our favorite Dicicco's was the one that Carlo Dicicco had on Blackstone and Barstow. Also, they would serve the Scarface on a huge oval shaaped plate. There was always enough to take home (not this time). I guess he just had higher standards, as none of the other Dicicco's restaurants ever measure up to his. Sure do miss...

This was my first and probably last time here. Unfortunately, had a horrible experience tonight. We started at the bar and were moved to our table shortly after. Soon after, a wedding party of at least 40+. The group quickly took over the entire bar. We sat unassisted for at least 15 minutes and probably would’ve been longer if I hadn’t stopped someone. When we finally got a waitress, I had asked if it wouldno be a long wait to order from thess by ce there was now a large crowd and she said yes. No apologies. We decided to order to-go and be done. While waiting for our food we were approached by a gentleman who seemed to be either management or owner, he asked if we needed anything and after telling him no and explaining why we were unhappy, he just said okay and walked off. Another 15 minutes and we were approached by a woman who asked if we were waiting on something, we told her we were waiting on a to-go order and again explained we were unhappy. She then said she was a owner and the group that had come in was an owner’s son. Initially it felt like excuses were being given but no accountability was taken for the problems we were having. She returned and did say sorry, providing us with a comp for the appetizer we had and 2 drinks. We were also provided a gift certificate.

I don’t understand why the restaurant was so ill prepared for such a large party for an owner’s child. Multiple employees stated they had no idea this party was coming. I do appreciate the attempt at the end to make it up to us, but I definitely...

Did a call in, picked it up, came home and the order is wrong. I called back and they justified missing the modifications (that were noted on their internal BOH ticket) because who ever took my order didn’t charge me. It was really unprofessional of the manager to even bring that up after I had tipped and came home to watch the games with my family. It was insulting, I always say I have no problem being charged extra. SMH I had asked for Parmesan and olive oil w/balsamic on the side as well when I called in which was missing. I did notice that before leaving the parking lot so I went back and no one came to the counter so I left home. It’s like they couldn’t do anything with accuracy despite only have one booth occupied in the whole building. It’s obvious the owners aren’t around enough because no one in their right mind would make such an investment, at higher prices than other locations, just to have some careless employees brush off the value of customers. There’s a lot of competition out there. Despite living down the street I highly doubt I’ll ever go back. I would much rather order on DoorDash from the Sanger location! Wish me luck…I’m on my way back. Just an update: I shared my experience with a few friends that also live blocks away and they all said “We never go there! Service is awful. We only go if we’re desperate because...

We enjoy DiCiccos and have visited many of them in the valley over the years. we visited the newest one on Shields and Armstrong this weekend for the first time. The food portions were the smallest of the chain and the most expensive by over 25%. see attached receipt. also the pasta side listed included in the entree on the menu was not provided to us. the Calzone, while pretty small compared to other DiCiccos was good but the veggies inside still raw. The eggplant parmesan was not properly prepared. they did not pre-salt the eggplant to remove the excess moisture so it was a watery mess of a dish. the service was really good and the atmosphere nice. the restaurant was clean and the bathrooms in great shape. all that being said, we will pass on this location in the future.

My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day dinner. I was quite surprise how quickly we got called to our table. We only waited about 15 minutes. A different story when we ordered our food. We had to wait 15 minutes before the waitress took our order and another 40 minutes for our food to arrIve. Food was ok not really that impress. May be because of the long wait we probably lose our appetite. We sat behind the bar which was a little bit loud. I ordered the steak with green pepper and my wife ordered the spaghetti combo lasagna with meatballs.
