North Lake Flea Market Inc — Attraction in Fruitland Park

As we drove north on US-27 we saw this place and decided to stop. They were just opening that Sunday morning. Only a handful of vendors were open and many were closed. As we walked around we did see a few nice items, but some were a little overpriced. The place is more like a garage sale than a flea market. I have to say that the folks we encountered were nice and friendly. We did manage to buy a few things that were a bargain. This place is a hit or miss depending on what vendor is open. An eclectic mix of flea market vendors. GREAT finds and even better prices, for the most part. Do be wary of a very few pushy sellers, but he experience and items are worth the adventure. This place needs more vendors, possibly some younger people trying to start a small business. Think great resale spaces if you don't...
