updated : brea dam trails and brea dam park are located within the same area. yet, are two different activities. the trails can add up to more than 5 to 7 miles, including the area that heads north or south of the railroad tracks. plus, the trails encompasses everything with the area. the park, has to sections, o e that is small with picnic tables , located by harbor blvd and next to the Parking site. in addition, the park is located on the other side of the dam, with small trails heading east and west. if your biking running jogging or walking, the trails and the park can present largely easy to mostly moderate challenges. steep small hills, to rolling trails within the inner brush. no bathrooms, no drinking fountains, but many connections to other parks and other trails within the area. mostly a nature experience, with little to no car traffic. careful with bikes, which many are present. parking lot is dirt based, and slightly unattended. so lock your car and put away valuables. overall, a good park and trail system that offers a couple hours of great workouts. score of 3.75 to 4.00
