Vista Park — Attraction in Fullerton

My husband and I go to the Summit House often and always had a 5 star experience. Not last night. I took my friend there for her birthday and was so disappointed with the John Dory. It was so overcooked! It was the texture of overcooked chicken! The waiter took it back and brought a fresh plate back very quickly but it was overcooked just the same. I felt like the waiter just brought me someone else's order that popped up ready and didn't mention to the cook it was over cooked. . Waiter left quickly without giving me a chance to taste my fish. When he came back I told him it was still over cooked, he offered to bring me something else but too much time had passed (I filled up on bread, potatoes and cream corn)so I told him it was ok, which now I regret since I didn't even end up eating the fish I paid full price for.

I gave 4 stars cause our experience in the lounge was good and the waiter was pleasant but he should have alerted the manager about my over cooked fish. The parking attendent was great!. Very professional and helpful. Awhile after I entered the restaurant I realized I left my phone in the car. He ran back to get my phone in a flash after he had already parked it even though I told him I wouldn't mind going to get it myself.

Even though my meal was very disappointing, I'm hoping that was just a fluke and I will probably go back to give it another try since my previous experiences were 5 star.

If you order the John Dory and like your fish flakey instead of tough and chewy, be sure to ask for it rare. Apparently their current cook doesn't know how...

It says you have a menu. When we were there I asked about it and all they had was drinks. By the way who put lemon in Ginger ale . Your sound engineer has the Bass way to high even with ear plugs it still didn't help at all. I mentioned to him that the Bass and valume was way too high and it drowned out the first singer.
