Most a park with small trails, enjoyed by walkers joggers and bikers. Caution at all times, bikers can often not see you in time. Interconnects with other park routes. Great for pets, family and relaxing moments. Lots of parking via street, quiet neighborhood and clean. East west North trails exist that connect to other large parks. Over a strong 3.75 to 3.95. Missing restrooms Missing water fountains , more of rest stop and wandering location. Part of the roscrans trail.

Good for biking We took our 2 small dogs for a walk, but we quickly realized this place is more for biking than hiking. There is a very steep dusty hill...which I’m sure it’s a lot of fun on a bike .... but it didn’t work for us, the place was very very lonely too

Deceptive rating.

Not much of a trail than a walk across the street. Starts off nice with the view overlooking the houses of Fullerton and a very interesting and weird steep grade- which is not recommended for bikers or people with strollers and kids due to risk of fall and injury.

Starts off nice but then whittles away to the main road... unless I am missing something.

There are no discerning signs: poor maintenance by Fullerton Parks a d Recreation.

When you type in the address it lands you in the middle of the street. There is no parking lot: make sure you avoid Thursdays due to street sweepings.

Trail full of dog poops; apparently dog owners feel they don't have to pick up after them due to natural set and setting.

There is apparently the Castlewood Trail but couldn't find entrance due to construction and given the fact you have to park at residential area limited to permits. It is supposed to be ~3.6 miles long.

Called the park office. Clueless attendant who transferred me to someone who had answering machine on at 9am.

Disappointing. Absolutely...

A really cool geocache brought me to this park. After I got the smiley I took a walk around.

This looks like it would have been a real cool park to grow up near. Many adventures are to be had here. Steep hills, secluded clearings among trees whose branches lean to the floor offering plenty of privacy to those on the other side.

It would be fun to play here years ago. But now, I kinda walked around a little...
