This was one of those Kismet finds that we didn't expect. The citizens of Fulton, IL researched and had constructed a historically accurate completely functional Dutch Windmill in honor of the city's largely Dutch original population. At one time over 40% of the residents were Dutch. Working with windmill experts from Holland they invested nearly $1,000,000 to create this amazing, fully functional windmill using the construction techniques and materials that would have been used several hundred years ago.
