♿️Right along with the Children's Park, the parking area is very large. The dog park is fenced and quite large. Shady and quiet. Did not seem busy while I was there. It is close to the creek, so if your pup likes water, it is fairly easy to get to it. It looks like there are plenty of activities available. Picnic areas close by and so are air conditioned restrooms. There is water available for you dog. It looks as though they advertise a Bark at the Moon event, but I am unsure if that is every month or just around Halloween or the fact that it is a lit area and the park is open until 10 pm. They reopen at 5 am. There was a bench shaped like a bone and a cute dog carving right outside the gate. The walkway is lined with beautiful pink flowering trees as well. There is also the trail to walk your dog along with you around the park to get your steps in, but I would recommend leashes, unless they are really well trained.

This is my favorite dog park in Metro-Bham! Why you might ask? Sure, I'll share... 1. It's never overpopulated in the several times we've visited thus far. 2. Balls and always present for shared use! 3. Little to no mud at all. The one tiny trouble area has been covered for a while now. 4. Creek that runs alongside the park. 5. Walking trail around the park and another nearby as well. 6. Other parks within walking distance, including a children's park/playground attached. 7. More grass than dirt. 8. Hugo plays here! Ask about Hugo (the Irish Wolf Hound)! 9. All the fur baby parents are super cordial and monitor their dogs accordingly. 10. Did I say no massive puddles of mud?!!?!? Enjoy!

Love the idea of a park just for our furry friends!

This was my 2nd trip here with my sweet Roxie, with this experience being much better than the last. Roxie was able to run and play, both solo and with the other puppies that were visiting that day. Our last trip here she was annoyed by an aggressive little puppy whose owners actually encouraged his rough play with my terrified little pooch. I guess that's what you have to deal with in dog parks.

The small dog area is very grassy, and doesn't have too many areas where mud would be a problem. There are poop bags readily available and a water station for your thirsty pups. There are also benches and sitting areas for humans should you get tired out or just want to sit and watch your doggy socialize, run and play.

Great atmosphere...

Great park, for owners and dogs. A very nice walking trail, that my 14 year old lab loves to walk, as well as a very dog friendly fenced playground. Actually there are two, a small dog playground and a large dog playground. Some nice activities, plenty of shade and benches for the owners to sit and watch. Bring your own water, as the pump that used to be available is no longer allowed to be used. Plenty of parking, with three different lots available. There is also a children's park adjacent to the dog park, so the entire family can play together! There are restrooms on site. There is a picnic area with tables and some grills available as well. If you want to use the facility for parties, you need to call the city for a permit. There are electrical outlets that can be...
