China 1 — Restaurant in Fultondale

Yesterday I was feeling Chinese for the New Year so I opened up my Uber Eats to see what was close to me. After some time of looking at the menu and some Google research I decided to try China 1.

First I ordered a Pork Egg Roll which was very well done and seasoned and not overcooked. I put some Duck sauce on that bad boy and it really set it off for me. 8.5/10

I also got the Veggie Lo Mein which was very good but I felt needed a bit more flavor but overall I enjoyed it. Add some soy sauce to it and you're good to go. 8/10

I also got the Orange chicken with a side a plain fried rice. The rice was just what it was rice but the orange chicken was amazing! Very juicy very flavorful and I couldn't stop eating it. 9/10

Oh I almost forgot I also got Spring Rolls. Didn't really care for them the inside was way to mushy for me. 5/10

Lastly I got the Chinese Donuts as a child I have always loved these. It's literally just fried dough with sugar all over it. Only thing it was missing was the sweet red sauce to dip it in that I didn't recieve unfortunately. 7.5/10

They gave me the wrong order , a combo plate with sesame chicken broccoli and white rice. When i checked the order i didn't see the broccoli so i thought it was okay. I didn't realize until i got home 20 minutes away. They wanted me to bring back the order they got wrong and pay the 2 extra dollers my order would be when i had to drive 40 minutes round trip. I explained the inconvenience and all they were worried about was me bringing the order back when they should have just said if you come back we will give you the correct order. I told them i just wanted the chicken and could i just come pick that up. The lady put a man on the phone and she was hollering the whole time. I ask again could I just come pick up the seseme chicken they made and forget the rice. He says you bring back the wrong order and we will change for large because you will owe 2 dollers. At this point since she is rudely hollering in the background i don't even trust them. I just went somewhere where i knew id be appreciated...

I purchased a small House Fried Rice without pork and one egg roll. They portion was extremely small for the price. I paid $8.03 and actually asked the lady if that was all. The shrimp and rice didn't have any flavor. The chicken didn't look like chicken and appeared to be steamed lightly. I didn't eat the chicken. I took it out and seasoned the shrimp. Then I attempted to eat the rice. I poured soy sauce on it to try to give it some flavor. After eating a few bites, I threw the rest of it in the trash. My Mom ate the egg roll and asked where was the sauce. I told her they didn't give me any. I must say the lady was pleasant. I wasted my money because I ended up fixing my Mom and myself a baked potato and salad. I will never patronize China 1 in...
