My daughter graduated Here 3 years Ago and Can't say enough positive About limestone University sadly I'm finding out they are closing it's so sad to witness in real time the The devastating effects of the fascist" anti-american anti-democracy anti-education musk Trump regime, as they have pulled funding from hundreds of universities thousands of colleges in tens of thousands of schools nationwide to funnel more of our tax dollars to billionaires and special interest groups. Educating our young should never be political It should be about teaching and nurturing our students & children and equipping them with the tools to live a successful life regardless of the political path they choose later" in" life" ideas are exactly what the word means ideas" sadly critical thinking has become a weaponized subject The ability for young adults to critically think for themselves to make free unadulterated decisions for themselves should never be a political issue sadly for those who choose to remain uneducated with a closed mind, and heart, unfortunately have been victorious on spreading racism" fair" misogyny" and fascist Christian national propaganda and effective in creating a stigma, a negative stigma around education nationwide as America falls further and further behind every! other! first! world! country! in new and innovative ideas to further society in sciences arts medical innovations music and film unfortunately this is going to cause carnage and Great barriers for future generations of Americans all because a very small minority of Christian nationalists and billionaire points of view on how America should pay" tribute" to the rich" and Christian nationalists that have weaponized the teachings of Jesus Christ well in the same actions completely ignoring his teachings of feeding the hungry curing the sick and sheltering the homeless God bless...

Schools are responsible for providing an education and preparing us for life afterwards. This school fails miserably at both.

Graduation rates are horrendous, this is mostly due to the fact that I had classmates with 700 SAT scores and 1.9 GPA's. At first thought, I believed Limestone was the good Samaritan that gave these people a chance at a good education. Much to my dismay, this is not the case. They do not expect these students to graduate, but they fill their classes and get their money before they kick them out the door with nothing but possibly $70,000 in debt (after 2 years)

These same students slowed classes down, so in order to cover all the material we had to go to class as part of the highschool attendance policy, then spend another hour covering what the professor was unable to get to during class because of these students. At a huge $35,000/year I could name 20 schools quickly that would give a better education and save you $5-15,000/year minimum.

Education aside, athletics are in fantastic standing as most athletes are international players and are quite good. If you have a full scholarship for athletics, I could even suggest working extra hard and making a run to play professional sports. But DO NOT expect to leave fully prepared for...

I am a working Registered Nurse with 3 kids. I was offered a free tuition for the RN to BSN online program so that the new program could earn its accreditation. I had been wanting to get my BSN for years but never could afford it. Unfortunately, shortly after I started the program, COVID hit and I was homeschooling 3 kids and working full time. I couldn't continue with the BSN program. I notified the head of the program and was told it was fine. The following year, to my surprise, all of my state tax refunds were taken by Limestone University!!!! When I called to find out about the issue, I was told that they would continue to take my tax refund until $7000 plus was payed back for the "free" program that I signed up for and did not complete due to unforeseen circumstances. No one ever thought that the whole country would be in lockdown because of a pandemic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you Limestone University for helping Nurses further their education. Thank you for being understanding of working mothers during a pandemic (note the sarcasm!) This University only cares about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ There is nothing "Christian"...
