This is an excellent park because it's very well kept and has a lot to do. It's a large park with available water and electric, buildings made in the 60s with modern architecture, a brand new playground, a brand-new covered picnic area, tennis racket ball basketball and baseball courts, it even has a place to do pull ups. There is ample shaded parking. The best part about it is it is adjacent to forested hiking trails and a beautiful creek. In closing, I want to warn parents not to allow the kids to go up the wrong way up the roller slide located on the west side of the playground. My daughter tried to go up the wrong way and fell and got very hurt and I had to take her to the hospital. This is a photo of the slide. Be careful.

Came here to play pickleball. Found a sign pointing towards a pickleball court. I only found a tennisball court and a racquetball court. Assuming that I could play pickleball on the tennisball court (since that is exactly where the sign was pointing), I started playing pickleball on an almost empty tennis court. Some guy (employee?) then came up and told us to leave because we can’t play pickleball there. Even though the sign directed us to this area, we were asked to leave. Very rude and misleading. Don’t come to this park if you want to play pickleball, they lied.

Westside Park, a staple in the westside community for many years, has undergone a heck of a renovation - mostly the playground. The (quite) old playground equipment has all been replaced with colorful, state-of-the-art climbing, hanging, spinning, running, swinging equipment. It’s actually a large playground, but so freaking packed there was, literally, no space available for my 10 year old child. Upon a closer look, she also decided that the park and equipment was mostly designed for little kids. The rest of the park is in great shape as well, with lots of updates and...
