Kelley Park — Attraction in Gaithersburg

Although the entire park was quite new, but it is poorly designed or operated for team sports at present. The original playground has been moved closer to parking lots, which was great, but still tiny in space. The original softball field was turned into a synthetic turf soccer field, but pulling equipment from parking for youth teams need some efforts. For youth teams using the inner baseball field for games, there was no drive through drop off places! Parking is limited. There used to be open sports fields with parking lots for the public. They built an elementary school where the parking lot and soccer field was. This left the two baseball fields in tack making access to baseball field #3 difficult to get to without walking a couple hundred yards.
