Ashton Hill Farm Galena — Attraction in Galena

Ashton Hill Farm Galena is BEAUTIFUL! Although it rained on our wedding day, we had a sliver of time to attempt our ceremony outside with the breathe taking view, and the main reason we fell in love with Ashton Hill to begin with.... It drizzled a bit near the end but it was completely worth it. And we were thankful our day of coordinator and DJ were willing to let us try! The staff, venue and everything in between was beyond beautiful and gracious! It took us a few times back and forth to fully understand the bar packages and what worked best for us, but it was all easy! We could not have asked for a better or more memorable wedding, and we cannot thank Ashton Hill Farm enough! They have plenty of events to come in and see the venue, meet vendors and experience the venue prior to your big day!

Very beautiful new venue nestled into the hillside overlooking the valley, just a bit off the beaten path on the south side of Galena. Great views from the patio area and through the expansive windows. The bar was big and well stocked and nothing seemed overly crowded, although we attended a smaller wedding reception there. The air conditioning worked incredibly well, almost too much so. The bathrooms were nice too. Nice poured parking lot, with a drive-up drop-off area, however, there are no steps from the upper parking lot to help get you down to the venue level so you have to walk all the way down and around, which if you're in heels, maybe a bit of a hike. But more parking is available than at their Cedar Rapids, IA location, so that's an improvement in my book. Do be aware that there won't be as much cell service there, due to...

Ashton Hill Galena was an absolute dream!!! We fell in love with the place during our first tour. We could so perfectly picture our guests there, and we were right. The venue needed little decor and floral because of it’s pure beauty. I will let you find that out for yourself though. More importantly the staff was awesome! We had some troubles with our event manager and so Megan the business owner did not hesitate to step in and insure we were fully taken care of. She went above an beyond insuring everything was organized and ready to go for the big day. I had full confidence in her, and she did not disappoint.
