Historic Towne of Smithville — Attraction in Galloway Township

It's alright. It's like New Hope, PA but smaller with fewer stores and not as fun. Most items were overpriced, as you'd expect at a touristy type place such as this, and surprisingly underwhelming. Even my wife wasn't blown away.

With that said, it's still worth a visit if you're nearby. It's a fun place to walk around and the people that work here are super nice. They've got some unique, fun stores with products you don't see everyday. It's fun to just walk around and look in all the different stores. You don't have to buy anything but chances are you'll find something worthwhile...

I love smithville! I visit every season, and was excited today to see the market they had going on! I usually attend for Italian fest, October fest, Christmas show on the lake, and during the May fest. On a whim, decided to visit today and what a pleasant experience . Lots of new stores , and what a great variety of shops. Something for everyone ! The Toy Shop, The Irish Shop, Peanut Butter shop, Pickle shop, Pet Bakery, and the adorable bath store in the church are some of my favorites. Can’t wait for Italian fest...

Decided to take a late afternoon stroll on a nice day. I was very disappointed to see that village is in need of maintenance. Mostly painting and some walkway. Trash 🗑️ needed to be emptied. Various bits of trash about. The shops are now mostly commercial ...selling many items available in discount stores or on line. Not a village of unique items. Just good for a stretch...
