Beach Pocket Park Number 1 — Attraction in Galveston

It a was nice. There are perks to being able to drive right onto the beach area. Those are present. Unfortunately, people are not great at taking care of their messes. So beach is not as well kept up, nor are the bathroom facilities (porta potties). Considering we paid almost as much to access the beach, i had higher hopes.

We love Pocket Beach 1. Being able to drive onto the beach, unload our chairs and cooler and sit right with our vehicle is great. There is a cost to drive onto the beach, but IMO, its worth it to not have to haul stuff down the seawall. There are Port-o-potties near the entry.
