Regular shopper on weekends at this Superior Market chain. I had great experiences in the past 8 years, but todayās meat services was upsetting. I was initially served by a cheerful young man purchasing two cuts of meat. I then went back and was served by a little older young man with bushy beard with a name tag āArtegaā. He tried to cheat by throwing beef shanks with very large bones, which I didnāt asked for. I went back and showed him the bag of bones. He got irritated, and refused to show me the cuts at the second tray by inching slowly along the bottom tray. I asked to see the rest of the bottom tray, he shot back āwhy donāt you say that. I kept calm. I later asked him how many is in the bag (I asked for four). He again shot back āI am still countingā. I said hey watch out with that attitude! I requested the young man that assisted me earlier. āArtegaā ask him to go on break. I then requested to see the manager. āAnaā, Cashier supervisor assisted me first then āChristian Romeroā store manager came and took over. Christian asked another butcher to assist me while he had a word with the very angry āArtega ā in the back butcher area. All is well after that. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went there and I saw the procedure they are doing with the bottle recycling on register 8 is not right. They are creating cross contamination on the band. The bottle are being pulled out of trash can and have liquids leaking out. Later in the day they open the same lane to help customers check out. Which means us as consumers are putting our food on that dirty band. I spoke with the manager who blatantly lied to me and said they only open lane 8 for 4 hours in the morning to do the recycling and then they clean afterwards. When the manager walked away, a very honest cashier said she has been assigned to the lane before and ALWAYS finds it less than safe to handle food. And it is not only used for recycling but also to process normal transactions. I recommend not going to this location at all but if you must then I suggest staying away...

After paying, she was about to give me my change and I said once, can you please break down the 20's in 5's. She snapped and said, "I heard you, I heard you."
That was odd. After she gave me the change I firmly told her to please not speak to me that way as it was unneccessary. She snapped more and started yelling, cussing, etc.
