The green here is gorgeous. Nature at it's best. A large covered area great for parties, etc. OMG...love, love, love Duck Creek! I grew up on Duck Creek. Since the age of six I visited this Creek. Went about every day. Sprinkling or light rain did not stop me. This Creek floods and often. Have seen very strong currents rushing. As an adult I would be fearful of currents arising quickly in any rain activity. As a child I got tadpoles....turtles...had slumber parties with turtles and would return them. This Creek can be very educational for kids. Writing this review I want to go visit the creek now. It is beautiful. Nature has hidden dangers such as poison ivy, snakes, etc. Be aware of ur surroundings. It has been a safe place for me all of my life! Hope...
   Read moreThis trail is very nice. Great place for a walk, run or cycling. I rode my mountain bike here. There is a paved trail you can take all around the park. I was surprised by how much of the trail had trees on both sides of the road. It was like I wasn't in the city. The only thing I didn't like was that the trail for the main loop isn't clearly outlined so I did end up back tracking sometimes or ended up having to ride on the street when I got to the end of the cycling road. Although I was there to burn some calories so I guess that helped. 🙂 There are also a lot of disc golf nets...
   Read moreWe took our dog out to the Duck Creek Greenbelt for the first time this week. The frisbee golf course ran alongside the route we were walking. Two different groups of people playing frisbee had dogs that were not on leash. One was very aggressive and charged us. When the owner finally got him he did not apologize or say anything to us. The second dog I saw as we were approaching it so I asked for someone to get the dog before we went by. Definitely put a damper...
