Lake Ray Hubbard Greenbelt — Attraction in Garland

My favorite park ever. Playground for kids, pavillion for sunny days with on sight water fountains. Plentyyyy of room for picnics, soccer, ect. Very clean!! Family/ pet friendly (on leashes). People who come through here are very polite. Also has basketball and volleyball courts, trails, tons of parking, you can fish, build bonfires on the "beach" I could go on and on. I wish I could give 15 our of 5....

Walk my dog along this greenbelt all the time since it's so close to home. I prefer walking him in the grass over concrete, especially on a hot day, and we love walking with the woods close by. I've always been a nature person so it's really nice. Around this time of year you can see ducks, wild cottontails everywhere, turtles, and SNAKES...

Took my daughter here today to have a picnic style lunch as the weather was nice but upon arrival it was nasty and had trash all over the tables and decaying food everywhere along with a few needles and what looked like homeless wondering around. Hopefully the city of Garland can get this area cleaned up soon for the residents and...
