Garner Veterans Memorial — Attraction in Garner

Wonderful neighborhood family park. Walking path is paved and quite long covering two sides of roadway. Plenty of kids outdoor gym equipment, pavilions with grills and are very close to parking. Huge amount of open fields for getting pickup groups together to play catch. Also beautiful for kite-flying, too. Picnicing on a blanket is very popular. A site for many town-sponsored activities. Also, the military monument is captivating. Lastly, a large dog park enclosed and the whole park is professionally maintained by Town of Garner. Oh, there are running water and flushing toilets...

Lovely park. This portion is a part of a larger park. There is plenty of trees and even a covered sitting area. The memorials are very unique looking. It's a breathtaking picture. The park is pet friendly. There is a playground on the end of the park in a quite area away from the street. I visited with friends to play a mobile game and we all really enjoyed the park. Tons of parking throughout the park....
