This place is great, I’ve visited only twice, but have seen they are continuing to expand and enhance this area and their offerings since they opened. Looks like a bar of some kind is currently under construction next to the fire pits. Hope they consider serving coffee or some non-a options. I’m not personally a fan of the New Zealand style ice cream- with mint- I feel like it was a little too much leaf in the ice cream (i know it’s supposed to but like… idk lol, not finely ground enough for me). Get the Oreo flavor if you want something without berries and mint leaves. They didn’t have that when I first went but glad they’ve added it. Not a big deal- some people must like the mint. Also I think the servings are far too large. Wish there was a kiddie cone half the size (a third of the size even) or something. Anyway, their covered outdoor store has many trinkets and things, great place to get some gifts or something unique; they even have some plants. You can also see their flower/pollinator garden next to the alpacas, it’s really beautiful. we even saw a hummingbird there. Tons of space to walk and lots of seating areas, even a small covered seating area behind the store. Port o’ lets and handwashing stations are available. Will def be back and can’t wait to see how it grows. Despite the mint in the ice cream- still like this...
Read moreWhat an amazing beautiful space, fun shop with lots of homemade items and the animals are fun!! 😁 They have many alpacas, 1 Llama, goats and chickens plus a hand washing station and portajohn. 👍 We enjoyed walking around, got ice cream (New Zealand style soft serve) and a coffee (love Larry's Beans) from the food truck and sat by the fire and relaxed. 💕 You could also buy a s'mores kit if you wanted as well. Well done, they will be adding more over the next year they just opened this past summer, definitely check them out open Fri, Sat, Sun 10-6 right now and they may close up for Jan/Feb we were told. But definitely check them out. Fun for the kids with lots of open space and things to do and see plus it's across from Benson Park and beside White Deer Park which I frequent with my dog, been driving by for a while but stopped by this evening and glad we did, great space we will be back and bring some friends too. They are also working on getting their beer/wine license as well, that will be great!! 🥰 Look forward to watching them grow and add on more things!! I posted these photos on Facebook while we were there but didn't fine them on there to check in may want to make a Facebook page as we older people use that still, I prefer it over Instagram, love my Facebook...
Read moreVery cool "farmer's market" with a chill vibe. Music, lighting, fire pits and adirondack chairs complete the mood. They had pumpkins, plants, and assorted craft items, as well as cute little stuffed alpacas-they are so soft! The alpacas, goats and chickens were what prompted me to visit. They have baskets with food and you are free to visit and feed the animals! It was a really nice experience, especially for my daughter. Don't miss trying the New Zealand style ice-cream! It was more expensive, but worth it, since it is made with real fruit and definitely not as sweet, as regular ice-cream. It was really refreshing! We tried the black cherry biscoff and we loved it! We're looking forward to trying some of the other flavors and/or purchasing the S'mores kit to eat at the firepit. 😋 I highly recommend visiting this adorable little farm, which is across from Lake Benson Park. The views are spectacular! Please support this...
