Garrett Museum of Art — Attraction in Garrett

WARNING! THEY DESTROY ART HERE. THEY DISPLAY PIECES OF ART IN CONDITIONS THAT DIRECTLY WARP AND RUIN THE CONDITION OF THE PIECE. They refuse to pay the artists for the destruction of their property. To call themselves a gallery is laughable and ridiculous. The don't respect themselves as ambassadors of artwork, nor do they respect the artists that create. Visited the museum for an exhibition of Vivian Maier's color photography work. The museum is housed in an old bank building. We were warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by the volunteer at the front desk who took our coats.

The exhibition was thoughtfully curated and nicely displayed - kudos to the team that made this happen. My friend and I enjoyed it so much!
