Kathryn Hanlon Park — Attraction in Georgetown

It's a decent park, however, there could definitely be more there. Good to go to the ayground early morning or later evening when the trees are blocking the sun. There is a senior area that is covered spot but seems better suited towards children than it does towards elderly. Nice little skatepark. Dog park area. A fine walking trail. Basketball court. Sand volleyball spot. Several soccer fields. Baseball diamonds. A football field. Restrooms. Blackberry bushes too.

bad management. We were told of the new splash pad, we called and talked to the officials. They said that it was open and anyone can use it, just press the button we planned for my son's first birthday to be held there. We showed up with a birthday party full of kids in swimming suits that we're not able to even use a water fountain.... Very nice, quaint, cozy park. Had an area for "seniors" to enjoy without loud children. Actual playground was nice and far enough away from "senior" area yet if you took grandchildren there, there was something for them to do in that area or you could visually see them at the playground.
