Parking is paved, which is good but, not defined. Also, parking fills up quickly as it's not too terribly large. There are no bathrooms on property, so go before coming. They have trash cans near the entrance, a large info display with map trails, and at start of trails have a bag station for doggy bathroom breaks. Most people I have witnessed keep their dogs on leash. Even on busy days, at least for me, it never feels busy. The parking lot might be full but, you may only run into a few people asking the way. Trails are assorted and most very defined. For people who like to walk with not much resistance, much of the trails are paved and can be walked by all age groups. There are some steep steps for more aggressive people, and a good assortment of nature hiking trails off the paved trails. It's also a good place to bike. Trails range from a mile to two. Although, connecting to other trails will quickly add...

Hiking is nice at sunset golden hour. The trail is a bit confusing so hopefully this will help someone else. I parked along the side of the road where I saw many others did. If you’re parking in the lot, you’ve gone too far. If you go across the street to your left with the hill going up you’re headed to the quarry. If you stay to the right, you will have a pretty view of trails with water around you. When you get to the 5 way intersection and start to see sand you’re in the right place if you’re looking for the quarry. Standing north make the farthest ascending path to the top and you’ll see the view. It’s hard to see coming because the drop is flush with the tree line. This can be an easy hike or a advanced hike depending which trail you take. Easy to find your way back to the...

I always enjoy coming here to hike around. This is the closest nice area that has a reasonable large amount of walking area. Can easily walk 1 to 2 hours without overlapping and repeating where you've been. Some of the trails are paved and you can use a bike on them. Some of the trails are dirt paths. There is some elevation gain which is surprising for South Jersey. This is one of the highest spots in South Jersey. If so have the interesting view of the Grand canyon. Old quarry that is still in use. There are no restrooms anywhere. If you use the parking lot that's right off 561 and Berlin road, it could be crowded. You can't park across the street. You can also park down at the gibbsboro police station for another way in...

One of my favorite go-to spots for 1-3 mile hikes and runs.

Went on a nature hike with my daughters who are elementary school aged and our dog who is a German Shepherd mix. We saw lots of wildlife and the vibe was very serene . There are several small trails that cross each other so it can get easy to get “turned around” … we couldn’t find our way back to the car after we took so many dirt paths and kept ending up in the same spot😂 overall the area was well maintained with benches to sit in some areas . We hiked a little over 2miles and enjoyed it ! We would definitely recommend.
