Parking is paved, which is good but, not defined. Also, parking fills up quickly as it's not too terribly large. There are no bathrooms on property, so go before coming. They have trash cans near the entrance, a large info display with map trails, and at start of trails have a bag station for doggy bathroom breaks. Most people I have witnessed keep their dogs on leash. Even on busy days, at least for me, it never feels busy. The parking lot might be full but, you may only run into a few people asking the way. Trails are assorted and most very defined. For people who like to walk with not much resistance, much of the trails are paved and can be walked by all age groups. If you’re parking in the lot, you’ve gone too far. If you go across the street to your left with the hill going up you’re headed to the quarry. If you stay to the right, you will have a pretty view of trails with water around you. When you get to the 5 way intersection and start to see sand you’re in the right place if you’re looking for the quarry. Standing north make the farthest ascending path to the top and you’ll see the view. It’s hard to see coming because the drop is flush with the tree line. Read moreI always enjoy coming here to hike around. This is the closest nice area that has a reasonable large amount of walking area. Can easily walk 1 to 2 hours without overlapping and repeating where you've been. Some of the trails are paved and you can use a bike on them. Some of the trails are dirt paths. There is some elevation gain which is surprising for South Jersey. This is one of the highest spots in South Jersey. If so have the interesting view of the Grand canyon. Old quarry that is still in use. There are no restrooms anywhere. If you use the parking lot that's right off 561 and Berlin road, it could be crowded. You can't park across the street.
