Small neighborhood Chinese restaurant not elegant, not a place to take people to impress them, but the food is very good, the service is very good, and the price is very good. Only four tables but they do a good takeout business.
I had the hot and sour soup and a hot shredded chicken dish, totaling under $12 with tax. Was tasty and fresh, well above average. It was enough for two meals, and I was a pretty hungry, pretty big guy when I came in.
Edit April 4, 2021 5 years plus Pandemic later. We've become regulars. I notice their food has become noticeably low in salt over the years, so my wife (now Vegan) and my sister-ln-law (serious gluten problem) have found diet-compatible choices; we all have gotten through the lock downs with them. Very quick service, too.
Diet-Frienďly Ideas My wife is hooked on their Hot & Sour Soup( she orders without egg, and their Moo Shu Vegetables without meat, thus Vegan. My S.I.L.simply avoids noodles and enjoys their Steamed Shrimp with 3 Treasures (Snow Peas, Broccoli and String...
Read moreWas visiting and craved good old take out from Peking restaurant. Food was delicious, and cooked to order. Was hot when I picked it up and ready to go on the table. With everything going on with social distancing they are accommodating. Then why the 3 star? Well due to the lack of comfort I felt when making the transaction. Like, what is the problem with me taking enough for my order or you giving me everything I need to have a comfortable experience with my family as we stay in a nearby hotel. I have nothing but money to spend to get what I need to be happy. As soon as I mentioned I was basically a tourist she immediately seemed nicer, Unfortunately we should all be treated equally with respect and class as you would want. Blessings to you all and...
Read moreThe food here is very tasty! And the portions are very generous ! I ordered through DoorDash the first time and when I saw the price was less than $6 for each meal I thought it must be the small sizes and ordered an extra one. I ended up sharing the food and refrigerating what was left for a different day.
The Lo Mein wasn't "bad" but wasn't my favorite. What I love most is that their Szechuan Sauce has some flavor. I also love that their mixed vegetables had such a good mix of veggies in it. They also accommodated me by changing the sauce the veggies were supposed to be in and also adding some fried bean curd (tofu) in there too. Often restaurants skimp on the veggies or throw a bunch of carrots in there. The food arrived hot and promptly.
I will order from...
