My daughter wanted to zip line during our weekend in Cave City so we decided to give this place a try. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The price for the zip line attraction was $50 which was reasonable considering the height and length of the zip line which also included a scenic chairlift ride up to the zip line start. She was an able to practice on two pre courses to make sure she was ready for the large cable. The entire process was about 30 minutes and we just walked in around 6:30pm. They do offer a twin line if there is more than one person going. Not sure of the specifics of height, distance, and speed but it was perfect for a 10 year old! The park was also open till 8 which was great as other attractions seem to close between 5-6. This is a nice roadside attraction for kids that also includes an alpine slide and other thrills! Everything was also in working order. We will most likely stop in again if we are passing...
Read moreWe had a fun time here. We rode the chair lift, alpine slide and zipline. I believe this place has been here a while but is under new management. My son was the most nervous about the chairlift because it looks its age. A nice ride to the top but might freak some people out. All in all a good experience. The alpine slide also looks its age but it was a ton of fun. You ride a "cart" down a track and you hold a lever to disengage the brake. It takes a little muscle to completely push the lever down and maximize speed (I wanted to go fast). We weren't going to do the zipline until we saw/heard some other people on it. This seems like the newest/nicest attraction. The instructors were super friendly and patient. They fit you in safety gear, teach you how the equipment works and walk you through everything. You do two "practice runs" on shorter lines before you do the big one. ...
Read moreNot sure why there are so many positive reviews but I wish more people would giva a honest review. This place has not been maintained. It was disappointing. Run down. Very under staffed or should I say all hanging out together at the top of the hill where the chair lift stops for the alpine slide. They didn't have enough employees to run all the rides so we had to ask someone to ride the go-carts. Then they had only one double seater and 3 single carts that were operational. No one was around for the bumper cars or the rock climbing wall and we didn't feel like walking back over to the ticket booth and asking for assistance. I gave it 2 stars because the chair lift and the alpine slide were fun and we got to ride the go-carts for an extended amount of time We do not plan...
