Mountain Top Retreat Cabin Rentals RV Park — Hotel in Glasgow

We enjoyed our stay here so much! Margaret saved our spring break by letting us book at the last minute when our original accomodations didn't work out. The cabins are the perfect size for a family of 4-5, with two double beds and one twin. The tv and cable worked very well with plenty of good channels, though we were unable to hook up the dvd player we brought due to the height and arrangement of the tv/cords. We did purchase 3 days of wifi through SCRTC, which was reasonably priced at $12.99 and worked well. Each cabin has a fire ring and picnic table, which we used to cook hot dogs and s'mores one night. Inside, there is a kitchenette with a good-sized fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker as well as plates, bowls, cutting board, and utensils. There was plenty of hot water and the shower (no bath tub) was spacious. The cabins are located at the top of a nice little mountain with a beautiful view of Cave City. There is a small pond with a gazebo next to an open field area where we flew kites on a windy afternoon. Our kids also enjoyed playing in the small gravel pile next to the field 🤣 Margaret lives on the property and was very responsive and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. She even offered to wash the one pair of socks we had for our toddler because I forgot to pack any except for the ones she was wearing when we left 🤦🏼‍♀️ We had such a great time, and we appreciate Margaret's hospitality so much! We would definitely stay here again if we plan another trip to...

This place was fantastic, exactly what we were looking for. My partner and I were driving in from Nashville for just a quick Mammoth weekend, and this place checked all the boxes. It is somehow both very close to amenities and attractions in the area while also still feeling very far removed from everything, in the best way. The view was great from our little fire pit and picnic area in the back. It’s very minimal, which we like, nothing fancy. But extremely clean. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot. There’s no stove (which we knew, but in case you miss that part while doing your own research) but all other kitchen utensils were provided and we had a great little grilled dinner using the provided charcoal grill. Margaret is so friendly and professional and got the place absolutely sparkling for our early check-in (which you can request for a small fee). We already plan on booking again to come down and do some water activities...

Our 5 night stay was By far one of the best expierences we have had in a while. The owner of the place was so extremely friendly and very helpful with tips to help us have a top of the line vacation. Our cabin was very clean and newly renovated! Such a cute little cozy cabin! The views were breathtaking! (Even got to see the 4th of july firework show FROM OUR DECK). The Ac worked amazing and stayed very cold!! The Keyless entry's into the cabin (used a pinpad) was an amazing addon! We never had to worry about losing a key! The decks were spacious and filled with lots of seating options.. i would definitely recommend this place, especially for the great rates! We were told since my husband was a fireman he could have gotten a much cheaper rate. Since we booked online she couldnt change the price, instead she offered us free wood for our evening fires! Seriously THE BEST...
