Tutto Dolce — Attraction in Glen Ellyn

You are missing out if you don’t stop in to try a few things! We tried the pizza, a panini and the pasta and 10/10 would recommend everything. The pizza crust was unlike anything I’ve tasted before, the gnocchi melts in your mouth and the sandwich was the perfect lunch time meal. Everything tasted so fresh and we didn’t leave feeling super stuffed or heavy, the way Italian food has made us feel in the past.

We tried all of the gelatos (key lime and salted caramel were my favs), and I’m sad I didn’t take the whole container back home with me. I could have that after every meal and it wouldn’t be enough.

We felt like family and loved chatting with the owners. We’ll definitely be back, already counting...

Disrespected by owner’s poor attitude. We came in smiling and with respect. My mom put her drink down (a to-go cup with a lid and a splash of soda left in it) on the glass counter to her left so she could pay, and the owner called her out, telling her to move her drink so it doesn’t spill. She was just trying to pay, and it wasn’t clear where the payment area was. The space is very tight. Only four gelato flavors to choose from. The gelato was mediocre. I was going to try a slice of pizza, but after seeing my sweet mother treated like that, we paid for the gelato and went to the new Nemec Brothers...

Great gelato place!! The owner Joe was very nice and welcoming, this is how all business owners should be! He told us about the gelato making process, fun fact they churn the gelato 24 hours a day to always be the perfect consistency. They swap out the flavors daily, even as often as hourly in the summer months.

We had the hazelnut and coconut and both were AMAZING! Can't wait to go back in the summer!
