A Taste of Italy - "Made in Italy Trattoria"
From the moment my girlfriend and I stepped into "Made in Italy Trattoria," we knew we were in for an authentic Italian dining experience that would resonate with us long after the last bite. This family-owned jewel, nestled in the heart of our community, exudes the warmth and charm one would hope to find in a cozy corner of Italy itself.
As an avid seafood aficionado who's had the privilege of sampling some of the nation's finest Frutti di Mare from bustling seafood ports like Boston and San Francisco, I approached my meal with high expectations. To my delight, "Made in Italy Trattoria" didn't just meet them; it surpassed them. The Frutti di Mare I had the pleasure of savoring here was the epitome of oceanic freshness, perfectly cooked, and harmoniously married with a sauce that was simply divine – the best I've ever had, bar none.
My girlfriend's choice, the Salmon Limone, was a masterpiece of balance and flavor. The fish was succulent and tender, complemented by a zesty lemon sauce that brought out the richness of the salmon without overpowering it. Each forkful was a testament to the chef's ability to elevate simple ingredients to extraordinary heights.
The heart of the kitchen, Chef Gennaro, graced us with his presence after our meal, allowing us to express our gratitude for the passion and expertise infused in his dishes. It's not every day that one gets to thank the artist for their art, and it was a personal touch that added to the already exceptional dining experience.
Even though our dinner extended into the time when most restaurants would be preparing to close, the staff welcomed us with open arms and never once made us feel rushed or an inconvenience. Their hospitality was as warm as the ambience, making us feel like part of the "Made in Italy Trattoria" family.
It's rare to find a place that not only promises authenticity but delivers it on every level. From the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, "Made in Italy Trattoria" isn't just a restaurant—it's a destination for those who appreciate the true essence of Italian cooking.
Whether you're a local resident or a traveler passing through, I cannot recommend "Made in Italy Trattoria" enough. It's a restaurant where every dish tells a story, and every visit feels like coming home. My girlfriend and I will undoubtedly return, eager to explore more of the menu and relive the culinary journey that Chef Gennaro and his family so...

September 13th was truly a magical night at “Made In Italy!” We celebrated my husband’s surprise party at this wonderful restaurant, and the Italy vibe paired with the incredible food made it the perfect choice. I visited several times ahead of the party to pick out the dishes, and let me tell you, each one was better than the last!
A huge shout-out to Angelo and Jackie for their amazing patience and guidance throughout the planning process. With so many moving parts, they made it all come together seamlessly! The servers, Jackie and Michelle, were exceptional and always on point. And Angel, our bartender, wow! People are still raving about those martinis!
Angelo didn’t just stop at being a fantastic chef; he also played valet for my husband's arrival and took the time to introduce himself and the restaurant to our guests, making the evening feel extra special. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the food and the fantastic time everyone had.

Read moreWe went here on a Friday night. There were going to be four of us. Two of us walked in and put our name in. We saw two people that we knew, also waiting for a table, and were standing there chatting with them. The owner was the one seating people. When a table opened up, he came up to us and rudely said, "When are you friends going to be here?? 7:00, 8:00, 9:00???" We told him they would be there asap, that they were parking. His outburst really surprised me because a table had just opened up that minute - it's not like he'd been holding a table for us, we weren't keeping anyone waiting, and there was nobody behind us. We hadn't even expected to be seated unless all four of us were there. He was just flipping out.
I figured that the guy was a jerk but I wasn't prepared for what happened next. He took the menus, walked to an empty table, and WHISTLED at us, as loud as can be, waving his hands frantically to let us know we could be seated! This is a very small restaurant. Everybody stopped talking and stared at him. It was dead quiet.
Of course I wish I would have walked out at that point, not sure why we stayed.
I have no idea what we did wrong or what his problem was. Although when we put our name in when we got there, he was not very friendly.
I've never seen an owner or a host/hostess treat anybody like that in any restaurant. It was so surreal. There was no reason or excuse for treating us that way - and we will...
