I bring my kids here every so often since they were open and I recently had my son‘s first birthday party here. It was amazing. He had such a great time and it had many things that were great for his size, but also great for his siblings that are a little older than him and everyone had fun.
The package was a pretty good deal and it included a room with three hours of time and one hour of that is for set up before. It also included entrance for five children. They sell nonslip socks for two dollars each so I put on the invitation that socks were included and I just paid for them out of pocket.
When I got there I received a friendly greeting and they have a cart for loading and unloading so I was able to get everything on the cart and into the room so I could set up. The kids had a great time and it was a nice little intimate room.
Finally, towards the end of the party we did our own cleanup, but as soon as the party was over at 3 o’clock the staff was at the door with all of their cleaning tools and products which I think is great to make a note of because you don’t have to worry that they’re not sanitizing the area. Of course after the party we stood around and chatted for a bit and the staff actually took time to sanitize everything and clean up after us which is really important.
I definitely recommend bringing your kids to play one afternoon to see how they like it and if they do I would recommend having a party here. It’s very affordable and you can bring your own food and we had an amazing time.
I would also like to make a comment about the location. I feel like if your perception of “safe” is rooted into how you perceive people then you have a bigger issue. This is a form of aversive racism and it’s pretty ridiculous that because someone asks you for spare change or you see someone that may appear to be homeless/loitering or not look as clean as you and your immediately intimidated or feeling unsafe. I feel you should take your scary self to the location in Gilbert or go somewhere else if you can’t respect the neighborhood. We can call a spade a spade but we shouldn’t be judging books by...
Read moreThe inside of Giggles is Adorable. I can appreciate the many benches for parents to sit on. The eating area is so perfect. The nursing room is comfortable. There are lots of things for the kids to play with, yet they are not overwhelming or crowded feeling. One thing I noticed was there were a lot of older kiddos playing here, and it was my understanding no children over six could play. These children were not just prominent 5-year-olds, as I have a tall 5-year-old. The other thing is the neighborhood is rough. Another thing is my toddler was asleep in the stroller because we have other kids who do not nap, and the toddler fell asleep on the way; we were told we have to leave her in the stroller in the front where we can’t see her. The lady was admittedly against me parking her outside the gate of the food area but still on the tile. She wanted me to take my 30-pound child out in the stroller's seat, which I cannot do because my stroller does not allow the seat to come off with the child. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said she was one, and then I asked to speak with her superior, and instead, she called him and talked on the phone with him but did not let me speak to him. Then the lady who is the only one here was sleeping at the counter. They also, charge for nine months and up, but there is not a lot for babies to do. Also, the food area and the snacks they sell are at the children’s height and can...
Read moreGiggles is always a pleasant Time , this is my last after an experience with this woman , when checking in the woman didn’t say hello and proceeded to finish what she was watching which was playing out loud for everyone to hear until she finally answered me after saying hello 3 times standing right in front of her. Told me that I need to wipe a tiny bit of drool of my baby’s mouth before I entered which I planned to clean him up but still had all my things in my hands and she also yelled at my sister holding my second child to put her drink down, she hadn’t even punched the card yet and my sister had never been so wasn’t aware what to do and was waiting for me to finish up at desk but was aware of the drink rule so it was extremely rude and I was definitely taken by surprise because I’ve always spoken with a very nice person coming here . She never cleaned up the 2 hours we were here and then cut the music an hour before closing because we were the only ones left besides one other family but my grandparents showed up about 45 mins till closing and she was sitting on her phone yelling from eating area that they were closing soon which they were aware of… just a very disrespectful person to deal with especially in a place full of children .also asked us to leave 10 minutes to 6 and had someone standing at the desk for 10 minutes while she ignored them trying to clean I’m assuming to leave since she’s...
