La Mejor Comida Mexicana — Restaurant in Glendale

Sadly I have to write this review. Food is good here. But service is terrible. Place my order by phone at 10:24am got at the restaurant at 10:37am paid for my order and was told not ready which I took seat to wait. After me someone else got there and order there he also sat to wait. At 11am I got up and ask if my order was ready and was told by owner that once order was ready he would call my name so I decide to sit and wait again. At 11:10 am they called the guys next to me which had order after me that his order was ready. I decided to wait 10 minutes more and nothing . At 11:25 am I went up to the counter to ask again and the owner told not ready that I needed to wait. That's when I tried to explain that I've been waiting so long and other people had gotten order before me when they order after me. He was so rude to me that I decided to ask for my money back. That I no longer wanted my food. His answer and his attitude was so rude about it. The owner name is Jose what a shame that it came down to this. He had a chance to fix this from the beginning the first time Iask him about my food. It turn out they had lost my order ticket that's why my food was never made. That show you he does not know how to run a business. He has 7 food servers and all.of them just stand around worrying how many tables they getting. Not focusing on...

The food is good, but the service deserves number 1 in Arizona for the worst and slowest service no cap. When you place your order you are more than welcome to go home do some chores, run some errands, spend time with family and then come back because your food will not be at your table within an hour. It’s crazy because it happens every time we come and it happens to everyone around us. Just today there was a guy who asked the waitress if she can bring him his drink and she said let me go get my pen and paper to write it down as if she can’t remember the name of one drink. Then we asked a guy for plain water and he didn’t know what it was and had to come back and ask what it was. You cannot make this stuff up. The owners really have to hire better workers or train their workers much better because it’s pretty annoying waiting for an hour or 2 without them even brining out...

Let me do you a favor, don’t waste precious time of your life by coming to this place. Service is awful, the worst the slowest ! There were a bunch of waitresses but none of them seem to care to give a good service to customers. And food really wasn’t worth the wait. Meat was pretty salty but the chicken was lacking flavor, the nopales almost sure were canned nopales. The expensive quesadilla with bearly some meat. And the place is expensive ! For the three of us and my girl just ordering two plain taquitos, my husband a quesadilla and I had the combo plate it was $65 !! The name of this place should be change since obviously it is not la mejor comida mexicana oh nope, it’s faaar away from that. I won’t be recommending this...
