I've eaten eaten at this restaurant a couple of times in the past and the food is always delicious and today's meal was no different. One of the reasons I came back is the taste. Today's experience was not the most pleasant at the restaurant, that's why I'm giving it 2 stars. After ordering food for me and my 2 kids, as I sat at the table I thought the total was a bit higher than normal. So while waiting at the table I examined the receipt and compared it to the prices listed on the menu board right above the cashier. I noticed that the prices didn't match. I was charged just under 5 bucks more than what it should have been. So I waited until I received my food before approaching the cashier. Word of advise never complain before you get your food anywhere. The cashier said that the prices had changed, I pointed out the prices listed on the menu board and she said " I know" I said than why didn't you informed me when I was ordering. I asked her for a refund of the difference and the cook immediately said no. I said that you can't advertise a price than charge more without letting the customer know. Other customers were starting to line up behind me so they just gave me the difference back to shut me up. A few minutes later I saw another customer complained to the cashier that the green salsa at the salsa bar had a dead fly in it. The cashier immediately took the tray and dumped it out and replaced it with a new tray and fresh salsa by that time I had already eaten the salsa. The food tasted good I hope it doesn't make me sick. After that experience I will skip this...
Read moreSo I love burritos being born and raised in AZ and going to Mexico from time to time. I've eaten a lot of burritos. Carne asada is my go-to. No carne better that fresh from the grill. But I tried different places in hopes of finding that late 90's early 2000's flavor when all the chain burrito spots were pretty new and cared about their food. We all know why there are so many, so I just try to find a good one. And this place is NOT it! I walked in place, and it was empty. it should've been my first clue. Anyway I ordered a carne asada burrito with everything. It might as well be called a mystery burrito. Because like a lot of places you never know what you're going to get. But this one, four bites in beans and a little shredded beef. Then, a lot of beans tasted ranch style, then halfway. Pico, which wasn't bad, never tasted the guacamole but found peas? When and where do you use peas? I gave the place two stars because the cashier girl was nice and the burrito was filling. For either will I go back, though?...
Read moreHey so I've been to many taquerias in my prime and so far this one isn't it. Me and my family spent over 120 bucks here for a couple of tacos that didn't live up to the name, normally I would spend below a hundred bucks anywhere else so I'm confused on why it's so expensive. Secondly almost all of the prices have tape over the menu with higher prices, didn't even bother to fix it. These tacos were okay, just over hyped from what people claim this place to be. Overall this is definitely a regular only establishment, so unless you work in the area and want tacos that resemble the first time you've made tacos, I...
