New York Park — Attraction in Glendale

Great park for it's size. It is small, but has everything you would need for a small child. Bark in play area is deep, insuring the safety of your child if they fall. Nice little shaded hiking trail does a horseshoe shape around the park. Nice playset with two slides and swings. The slides are tunnel slides, which are fun and keep the surface from getting hot. If I lived within walking distance to this park I would use it, but if I'm getting in my car I would visit almost any of the other La Crescenta playgrounds - they're all bigger, with better views, and more playground equipment. Love this little park. There’s a small but new apparatus. The grass is always green. There are about four picnic tables. Other than certain holidays (e.g. Easter) it is never crowded. UPDATE: The city of Glendale stopped watering the park. The trees are still nice, but it’s mostly dirt now. -...
