This dog park is a fantastic spot for your family's furry friend. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and is not overly crowded, making it a great place to relax. Ample parking is available right by the entrance, and the neighborhood appears safe with people jogging around. Adjacent to the dog park is an actual park perfect for a nice picnic. Additionally, across the street, there is another park with a skatepark for kids, making it a fun outing for the whole family.
One of the standout features of this dog park is the provision of water for washing your dog's paws after playtime. Clear signs indicate that while it's primarily for big dogs, all sizes are welcome. They even offer free obedience classes that cater to everyone. The park is open every day from 7 am to 9 pm, except for Tuesdays and Fridays for maintenance.
The park provides benches for owners to relax and shaded areas for comfort. There are also a couple of rock obstacles for dogs to enjoy and have fun on. Overall, this dog park offers a great experience for both dogs and...
Read moreGreat local park for dogs. Been coming here for a year now and have come a long way with our pup. Finally was able to fine tune the schedule and come at a time where the crowd is more tolerable. The afternoon/evening crowd (dog owners) is a mix of judgemental and super cliquey adults who still think they’re in high school. You’ll get the occasional stink eye if you walk in with a not-so-desireable dog breed (pitbull ownee here) and rules are enforced selectively. So we now come in the AM and there’s much nicer crowd and better energy at the park. Biggest eyesore are the contracted maintenance folks on Tuesdays and Fridays. They’re supposed to have the park from 7am-9am for “maintenance” and although most of them are done by 7:45 they run out that clock and just sit around texting or simply watering the concrete for 30 minutes. I have asked on many occasions “hey buddy if you’re done on this side can we go in?” But I don’t think they understand...
Read moreOne of our two favorites in the LA-area, this park offers a wonderful mix of size, terrain, and parking. Also nearby, is a large field area that we sometimes take our dog to afterwards for a nice, cool-down walk. Many dogs take advantage of that too.
Pros: Super long park (150+ yards) which means your dog can run as much as they want without hinderance. It's got woodchips/leafy, so your dog won't get as dusty as in a dirt dog park. There many trees which offer run terrain for the dog and shade for humans. BIG parking lot -we've never had any issues circling around for parking. The humans we've encountered here are also very friendly.
Cons: Only one water sprout which is at the front near the entrance. So if your dog is playing in the back will have to track back to get water. But that's the only downside of this...
