My dog and I love this dog park, we come all the time, everyone and their dogs are super friendly. However, today I went by myself, and some kid who was 18-20 came in without a dog, which I thought was odd, but I thought maybe he was waiting for someone to come. But he sat down pet my dog for about a minute, and while he thought I wasn’t paying attention, he tried to take my dog. He was like patting his leg and trying to walk him out of the gate. When I saw this I got up and walked to my dog he kept saying that he was just taking him to get water, even though I kept telling him no, and that I have water for him. While we were going back and forth he tried to cut me off from grabbing my dog and went to open the gate, but thankfully I was able to grab him by his harness and we left. The kid took off and left the second gate open, I didn’t see where he went. The entire interaction was super sketchy, and he kept looking at remy in an uncomfortable way. So be careful and mindful, especially if you go...
Read moreWe loved the park! It was very clean, no dog poop left on the ground, very well maintained area. There was a lady with 3 large Huskies who were not trained at all. There ganged up on us with our two dogs immediately upon walking into the park. We still had our dogs on leashes and the lady yelled at us about removing the dogs leashes because they felt that "our dogs had to protect us". This was the first time we have taken our dogs there however I would not enter the park if I see the owner with these dogs again. Not only did we feel threatened by these dogs, we watched three other couples with dogs leave the park because the huskies were let loose and ganged up on each dog. In fact, one couple barely made it in the gate before being attacked by the three huskies. The owner took several minutes to attempt to control her animals. Overall, we loved the park. I will return, but beware of the huskies, as it has been noted they visit the park frequently, their owner states "they are the police...
Read moreIt's always a experience everytime my wife, dogs and I go here. So many friendly dogs, super chill owners of dogs. Large picnic areas and a playground tucked away on the other side of the park.
The park is huge. Beautiful it's own desert kind of way. Has a surprising amount of green grass and scrubbery too.
The dog park for us is the main attraction though. It's absolutely gigantic. It's fenced up to 8ft tall (I think 🤔) has 2 areas that are duplicated. So every other month they can close to one whole side for maintenance and cleaning.
Small dog paddock, and a medium/large dog paddock. The small dog area is what I believe to be almost half acre.
The large dog paddock is what I would think is about 3 quarters of an acre. There is an entrance on either side of the dog park and parking along the road up as well as by the picnic/playground area.
Absolutely Love this place... Now if only I could get my dogs to behave and not bark as...
