Wonderful place to see all the local history. This museum was put together with local people clearing out their basements and attics. The person on staff there attended this school when it was in operation. She even invited us to ring the massive bell in the tower connected by a long rope which took several pulls to get it going.
I'm told that it is only open in the summer because the heating plant is out and it's too cold in the winter.
