Theodore Wirth Chalet — Attraction in Golden Valley

Went golfing here for a bachelor party. Half of us hadn't been golfing in years so six of us stuck together and played best ball. We moved quickly along the course and didn't have anyone lining up behind us, but someone along the way saw a six-some and felt the need to inform the management. A very friendly and understanding employee carted out to tell us someone had complained, and followed it with an observation that we weren't interfering with anyone else. So we made staggered our groups a little and still had a great time.

The place was a beautiful venue for my wedding. I would have to say though, that management (event coordinator) was not the best at responding and we felt like they were always avoiding to call us back. Minneapolis parks in general was not good at updating us on construction with the building. A month before our wedding we made a visit and to our surprise, there was construction. We were never notified about this and I feel like it was their responsibility to do so. The rating is more so for management. The place overall, absolutely in the high 4! This is a very nice course very well maintained grass is a little sticky so stay in the Fairway greens were firm holes nicely placed couple of the holes were still being fixed little bit under construction but otherwise this is a very good course for Long Shots get your drive on the staff was nice had a new guy starting he was very polite and understanding and I would highly recommend this for any challenge of your game and enjoy your round at Theodore Wirth Park Golf Course and tell them...
