*If you're considering this hotel for a concert you're going to at Red Rocks, stop! Read this first.*
I had my hopes up so high for this resort because it looked so nice, but save your money and pick a Hilton. First of all, I arrived at approximately two in the morning after a delayed flight, and my boyfriend went to go park the car. The hotel reservation was in his name with my name listed as an authorized guest and my name on the credit card that was used to book the room (that I had in my possession and showed him) and the front desk attendant wouldn't let me check in without him. It's unreasonable. Why else would I have taken the extra step of adding my name.
Second, keep your expectations low regarding the room. They are absolutely tiny, and very heavily used. The paint was chipping on almost every wall, there's no carpet or even rugs on the floor so it feels cold and uninviting, The heat and air conditioning is so loud that when it kicks on and off it'll wake you up, the lighting is awkward so you're either flooded by more light than you need or you have not enough light to see and the switches to the lights are in an awkward position.
Third they only give you two towels. I've never once stayed at a hotel that doesn't give you at least three sets of towels. This is because there's an inevitably something that you need the other towel for. Well I figured this out at 4:00 in the morning, and the front desk attendant wouldn't bring up an extra towel. He said I had to wait for the housekeeping staff to arrive.
Fourth, in the morning I went to go get some mimosas at the hotel bar. I had to wait for at least 15 minutes before someone told me that I had to order from a kiosk at the very back of the hotel that was around the corner, that nobody could see. Then when I place my order I was informed that they were out of champagne.
Fifth, we'd initially booked the reservation for Saturday and Sunday night, and after the fact we tacked on Friday night. We were assured that are although these are separate reservations, that the hotel would merge the reservations together and allow us to stay in our room and not move us. Well on Saturday morning, I got called by the front desk asking if we needed a late checkout. I explained that we had a reservation for Saturday and Sunday. She indicated that she had no reservation for me. I had to go down to the front desk and show my ID, and finally they realized they entered my first name as my last name and my last name is my first name. I have a very conventional first name and very unconventional last name, so it's sort of unreasonable that they would have switched those.
Also, the pictures online make this hotel look like it's in the mountains. It's not in the mountains. It's on a hill next to a freeway. Don't let the pictures deceive you. The closest thing to you is a gas station 200 ft away and the highway right behind that.
Sixth, the bed is hard, the pillows are both too soft (usually you get one hard and one soft so you can pick which one you need), the sheets had dark black stains like the housekeeping cart ran over them.
Finally, we came here because we were going to go see a show at Red Rocks. The hotel lists one of the amenities as a shuttle that goes to Red Rocks. The shuttle is $40 per person, so it's NOT included.
I think this reservation cost $1,200 for three nights not even during ski season, just on a random October weekend. I was hoping this hotel would be a wonderful, relaxing stay in which I could veg out in a nice, luxurious bed with nice sheets and take long naps, watch TV, enjoy the beautiful hotel bar, do some hiking, and see a show. It was an absolute waste of money. I will never come back. If I see a show at Red Rocks again, I'm staying at a Hilton.

This place is prime for its location and the fact they shuttle to Red Rocks Amphitheater. Upon arrival the hotel looks amazing, great lobby, front desk, meeting rooms, and bar (restaurant looked nice, but didn't eat there). There is a really neat chalk wall before you get into the elevators. The front desk staff were attentive and polite. Big plus this a pet friendly hotel and they sell some nice local swag (sweatshirts, t's, hats, beanies, patches, stickers, bags, etc.). The front desk staff was the only reason I gave 2 stars versus 1.
For the premium price I paid for the hotel I thought it would be nice place to stay, unfortunately I was disappointed shortly after getting to my room. It looked like the nightstand and desk was wiped down with a used laundry towel, human hair and tons of dust stuck to them (long human hairs stuck to both). The floors which were vinyl looked like they haven't been swept or mopped in some time with marks and dirt on the floor. The bathroom floor was disgusting with black and brown grout with certain spots still being what I imagine was cream colored grout initially. I didn't want to walk around without my slides for how gross they were. The bathroom sink didn't drain and had black stuff coming out of the pipe when it would back up. The shower head was coated in lime scale and had mold growing in the grout. I have attached pictures of the "quality" you are paying for.
The towels felt like they were washed with Ajax as they were like sandpaper. The towels were dirty with human hair stuck in them as well.
On the day of check-out we were asked by the cleaning crew if they could clean out room at 9am, check-out is not until 11. While helping my friends load their car around 1030 we were in the elevator and the same cleaning lady ran towards us asking if they were checking out. They had requested late check-out upon checking in and after my friend said no she asked again as if the answer would change.
The hotel adds miscellaneous charges all per night, unsure what the "Other room tax" was for as we did not share a room or have joint rooms. There are those in between room doors, problem the doors don't block the noise from the other room and we had a very noisy neighbor next to us who was up yelling all night (at least until 3 or 4 am). The walls are thin and poorly insulated as I could hear conversations from the room without the door as well.
I have never been so disappointed after spending so much money at what would have been a nice place if the place was upkept and cleaned.

We use to enjoy staying here until you have an unforseen issue. Ours was no air conditioning on one of the hottest days in June. Found the issue- frozen evaporator coil on a Saturday night on the west side of hotel. Kal stated no other rooms available and no maintenance on duty. He admitted he was tired the next day and apologized for his attitude and assured me Amy the day manager on Sunday would resolve. We were put in new room on Sunday and Amy did discuss and assured me everything would be handled and that she would let me know because she stated she was not sure cause she just walked in and we bought on Priceline. I stated I did not buy on Priceline and never have used Priceline when booking there. No follow up call, no information until Monday. Went down to talk to another rep with a major attitude stating there was nothing she could do because Amy wasn't there and she said " the computer says you bought on Priceline." I repeatedly stated I didn't and showed a chat with my credit card company showing I have zero Priceline transactions in my history AND showed the exact billing direct tp the hotel along with the other stays I had there. Even though I showed her and her " manager" Todd she insisted I bought on Priceline and thats what the "computet says." Now I start to get angry and Todd 1st said he was calling 911 because I threatened the desk staff while he was there. I said I am loud but did not threaten. Thats when victim hood which seems to be very prevalent in Colorado happened. Todd now says I am disturbing the peace. The whole situation was humorous. What Todd still has not learned is people stay at his hotel to have a good night's sleep and expect what they pay for. Telling a customer something that didn't happen and then because he couldn't handle any conflict contrary to his feelings he threatened and did call the police. As we were leaving the hotel 2 of Colorado's finest showed up to laugh with me and my party when I explained how Todd was offended because I got loud. Nice job Origin and Todd for alienating clients when you have failures at what you do. Stay here if you like but there is a reason the ratings are slowly slipping. See below and Todd or someone will probably embellish the story like they tried with the State Troopers who had a laugh with me and wished me a safe trip home. Todd and all at the front desk staff today need to go get retrained or find a job where you can play the victim. See my chat below regarding no Priceline purchase.

I checked into this hotel the heat was stuck at 61 degrees. This was in the Dead of winter and it was very cold outside. I called the front desk to let them know. The heat ended up turning on about a half hour later. The front desk called me back and my fiancé let them know the heat was fine now.
Come to find out the front desk never actually resolved the issue and just took a long time getting back to us. We notice when we woke up the heat was back at 61 and we were freezing. I contacted the front desk again and let them know what happened. Let them know this is unacceptable conditions which the front desk employee told me her manager does not get in till 3 PM, but they’ll try to give me some kind of discount. The front desk employee let me know that they had an issue with several other rooms. She stayed. The manager will be calling me later that day.
I gave it three days and ended up calling the hotel again spoke with the actual manager. I explained my frustrations. The manager literally said “ Yeah, it was not cool me to blow you off like that.” Literally admitting they were avoiding me and the situation. She told me she knew there was a heating issue and said I should’ve been moved out of that room. I informed her last night the guy at the front desk never gave us the option.
The manager told me she would give me a full refund as well as a free stay at the hotel. She told me she would send me a personal email. I never got the email and it doesn’t seem like the refund ever went through.
At this point I’m just tired of calling and complaining at them. If you have a concern by staying here, just know, will not be fixed and will be disregarded. They will apologize and act like they will fix the situation, but truly nothing will get done.
Their manager is super unprofessional. Beautiful hotel but this situation just ruined it for me.

What a great addition to the Red Rocks area! Whether your staying for a concert, or just staying like we did - it was truly unique. The onsite restaurant was fantastic - street tacos were on point, variety of mixed drinks and local beers as well. Our waitress was super nice, prompt, and very accommodating. They have bikes to take out on the many trails surrounding the area, outdoor games and tons fire pits scattered everywhere - inside and out. Cool concert posters and art all around the hotel, but not in a cheeseball Planet Hollywood type of way. As locals, we were out having drinks with our 2 year old in 50⁰ weather like it was summer. Another waitress came out to play with him while we had drinks and wandered around outside. Made our day. Staff here are crazy friendly! The rooms are cozy, modern, with a mountain twist. Our little dude loved the tent they give you! Seriously they give you a tent to set up in your room! You do have to set it up, but we never asked if they would for us, as I'm sure they would. Pretty simple. Certainly was a hit. Checked out the workout room, but had too many drinks. Maybe next time. Maybe more street tacos were necessary. It was nice though! They have a shuttle to downtown Golden and Red Rocks for concerts.
I will certainly stay here for a few concerts this summer, I can't wait. The cherry on top for an overall amazing concert experience!
