Nice place to catch up on freshwater fishing. Large Mouth and Small Mouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, and Crappie galore this year. For Crappie try Crappie jigs and silver and gold Kastmasters. Worms and Power Bait for Rainbow Trout. Bass are hitting on every thing; top water poppers, Rapalas, worms, spinner bait, and jerk bait. Gets a little breezy in the afternoon. Morning's the water is like glass.

THE HOOK , excellent service excellent food , very clean ,definitely not a greasy spoon, super family friendly, I had chesse buger and fries, amazing, Dean and chris the owners super people, and on Saturday afternoon live music entertainment, I can wait to visit this place for breakfast,

Good place to rent a boat for reasonable prices. The boats are nothing fancy, but its fun to take out the family for a couple hours. They are usually available in the morning, but there's no way to reserve one beforehand. Beautiful vistas and wildlife are found throughout the lake.

It is very nice place to have a stop if you are on the way to Monterey or Salinas. A gas station and small store available. Kayak or motor boot are also available on rent. Very peaceful and claiming place. I have seen lots of people who come there for weekend camping. We have stopped for a...
