Cachuma Lake Park — Attraction in Goleta

Really enjoy the spacious campground sites with it's great old oak trees. The campground has a small restaurant/bar called Hooked Bar & Grill. They have very good food and selection of drinks in a setting next to the boat dock area, where you can rent as well. Local bands play every Saturday from 3 to 6, I'm told. Band we listened to was very good and played 70 and 80's popular hits. Was really pleasant walking around the park loops socializing with the various travelers. We had our own RV boondocking at one of the large number of RV sites available. You can find some areas with electric power, but no sewer right now, although they have a 3 dump drive-ins free with site payment. Plenty of shaded areas to camp. Some showers available for paying customers. Sufficient and clean restrooms. Nice lake, just no swimming allowed. Cannot touch the water however, you can boat in it and fish in it. There is a store and...
