The Cachuma Lake Disc Golf course is a pretty solid spot to throw some discs, but there are definitely a few things to keep in mind if you’re thinking of heading out here. First off, the views of the lake are great and the layout is decent it's got a nice variety of holes, so you’ll get a little bit of everything. However, the play area in the summer really takes a hit. The green areas are often overrun with dry brush and weeds, which can be pretty frustrating when you’re looking for your discs. Add to that the ant mounds and gopher holes scattered around, and you’ll need to be careful where you step! It’s not the most well maintained course I’ve played, but it still gets the job done if you’re up for it.
