"Lake Los Carneros Park is a hidden gem! I recently discovered this beautiful park and was blown away by its serene atmosphere and stunning natural beauty. The lake is picturesque, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant wildflowers. I enjoyed a peaceful walk along the trails, spotting birds and turtles along the way.

The park is well-maintained, with clean facilities and ample parking. I appreciated the variety of recreational activities available, including kayaking, fishing, and picnic areas. It's a perfect spot for a family outing, a romantic date, or a solo escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

What struck me most was the sense of tranquility that pervades the park. It's a true oasis in the midst of urban sprawl. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with memories to cherish. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, look no further than Lake Los Carneros Park – it's a must-visit...

Extremely diverse in terms of flora and fauna(plants, flowers, trees and animal life). On one visit I saw and/or experienced the following: Redtail hawks, Peregrine Falcons, White-tailed Kite(a bird of prey), Canadian geese, Mallard ducks and numerous songbirds. I saw snakes( non-venomous), lizards and frogs and turtles in and around the lake. Even walked through a bamboo grove. And of course there is the small-gauge railroad train that offers rides for children and adults. And last but not least is the beautiful, historic Stowe house. An...

This small lake is an absolute gem, perfect for a quick escape into nature. The walking loop around the lake is well-maintained and offers a serene stroll with lovely scenery at every turn. Ducks and various other birds are plentiful, adding life and charm to the experience.

It’s dog friendly - dogs must stay on leash. Your furry friend will love it and the trail around the back of the lake is a really nice natural path that winds its way back in a loop. It’s the perfect little outing to refresh your mind and connect with nature....

It's more like a pond than a lake, but it's beautiful location to bike ride or walk by yourself or family. Basic bicycles can ride there. There is dirt trails that a mountain bike would be perfect , but they're not to tough, where a touring road bike can do it. Plenty of birds and wildlife to check out. Also a lot of biodiversity to identify. Some people fish for recreation here, to catch and release. I believe the fish aren't big enough to take home.

Excellent park for a stroll. Views of lakes and mountains as well as wildlife. Attractions available for children include a train, tractor ride and petting zoo. Comfortably walk around the lake in 1 your but two hours to really enjoy yourself is recommended. I don't believe bathrooms are available other than a portable restroom. On Saturdays and Sundays there are a few small museums available about Goleta history.
