Millionaires only! Been here maybe 50-60 times fishing off the dock over the last five years, never by any boats. Often having conversations about fishing with the DNR conservation officers about catches and life in general, never once being asked to leave. Not until the garbage guy working as a DNR Employee put up all the makeshift signs and barricades so he can play hall monitor. Now they have barricades on a state owned harbor informing all (not just fisherman) that they can’t set foot on the docks unless they rented a dock slips (untrue according to their website), only the millionaires and their 3 yachts that don’t even use up half of the slips. Not all the slips are taken, this is the only state harbor I’ve been to that will kick you out for setting foot on their docks. Don’t make the mistake of using the public bathrooms! They are now only for the yacht slips too, with the public restrooms having a sign saying “boaters lounge: Boaters only” despite being listed as public restrooms.
